Triska had an explosive week at the plate to lead FDU to a 4-1 record, including a 2-1 mark in NEC play. The junior shortstop/outfielder posted a .615 batting average and sent six of her 10 hits for extra bases on two doubles and a whopping four home runs. In the process, she slugged 1.500 with six RBI and recorded a .684 on-base percentage. Triska, who crossed home 10 times, was also a menace on the base paths as she successfully converted on each of her four stolen-base attempts. The Murrieta, CA native’s week was highlighted by a 4-for-4 effort against Saint Peter’s that saw her go yard twice to finish with three runs and two RBI in the 6-3 win. This is Triska’s first NEC Player of the Week honor this season.
