Maxwell, a native of Everett, PA who is also a member of Saint Francis U's women's basketball team, won the 800m at the Red Flash Open this past weekend, covering the two-lap race in 2:17.37. That time, which is the top performance among NEC rookies, is the sixth-fastest in the league this season. This is Maxwell’s first NEC Rookie of the Week honor.
