Gilliano had a solid stretch at the plate against LIU, going 6-for-9 while posting a .727 on-base percentage. Scoring four runs while driving in two, she swiped three bags and is just two stolen bases shy of matching the NEC single-season record of 41, which was set by Nicole Alvarez (Monmouth) in 2007. Gilliano got the weekend off to a hot start, scoring three times on a 3-for-3 effort that included a triple. She went on to close out the series by going 2-for-3 with two RBI in the 4-2 victory. This is her first NEC Player of the Week honor.
