In a tri-meet at Iona, Vilarrasa touched in at 2:06.00 in the 200-yard backstroke to earn gold and record the fastest time in the NEC this season. The rookie swam a 53.45 leg that ranks second in the NEC in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a first-place team finish of 3:33.64. Vilarrasa also competed in the 400-yard medley relay as the Seahawks placed second as a team with a time of 3:59.55.
