Bruzdewicz was perfect on his place kicks, accounting for 12 points in Duquesne’s commanding 30-6 win at Central Connecticut. The McMurray, PA native connected on all three field goal attempts and went a perfect 3-for-3 on PAT. Bruzdewicz sparked a game-opening 13-0 run with a pair of first-half field goals. He capped a 20-play, 73-yard drive with a 23 yarder to get the Dukes on the board before he nailed a career-long 40-yard kick to double the lead to 6-0 in the second quarter. In the third quarter, Bruzdewicz sparked a game-ending 17-0 Duquense run by drilling a 20-yarder to cap a 78-yard Dukes’ drive. The junior also handled Duquesne’s kickoff duties in the win, totaling 159 yards and averaging 39.8 yards per boot. This is his first NEC Special Teams Player of the Week honor this season.
