Week 8 Stats: 260 pass yards, 17-24, 70.8 pass completion percentage, 2 TD passes, 0 INT
Perrantes assumed quarterback duties for Duquesne in the second quarter at Central Connecticut, and he did not disappoint. The sophomore threw for 260 yards and completed 17-of-24 passes with zero interceptions to lead the Dukes to a commanding, 30-6 road win. With his team leading 6-0, Perrantes connected with wide receiver Dwayne Menders, Jr. in the back of the endzone to put his team up, 13-0, at halftime. The Los Angeles, CA native then put the game away and made it a 23-6 advantage when he capped a 10-play, 54-yard drive with a 24-yard toss to Jalin Cooper. A two-time NEC Offensive Player of the Week award recipient in 2021, Perrantes becomes the first Duquesne player to garner the honor this season.
