In addition to turning in stellar offensive numbers, Ciszek was just as productive defensively for first-place Sacred Heart last week. The graduate setter averaged 2.00 digs and 1.25 blocks per set in a 2-0 week for the Pioneers that featured a five-set win against UAlbany and a straight-set victory over Central Connecticut. Compiling 80 assists and 16 kills, Ciszek added 16 digs and 10 blocks, including a season-high six against the Great Danes. With her first NEC Defensive Player of the Week award of 2022, Ciszek now has now earned nine weekly honors this year.
