In a dual meet against Iona on Saturday, Carrillo led Wagner in the pool in a tight 109-114 defeat. The rookie from Santa Barbara, CA helped guide the 400-yard medley relay squad to third in 3:33.28. Carrillo swept his individual races earning his first colegiate victory in the 200-yard IM tocuhing first in 1:55.58 as the top time in the NEC. He followed with a gold finish in the 200-yard fly touching the wall in 1:54.52 setting the school record at Wagner as well setting the top NEC time of the season thus far.
