Kicking off his sophomore year, Bhatia opened up his campaign with a stroke average of 70.6 for the month. Opening up at the Doc Gimmler Invitational, the Chandigarh, India native led the Sharks to a 1st place team finish, shooting a 7-over 218 (72-69-77) and finishing 15th individually. Continually improving as time went on over the month, Bhatia then shot a 142 (75-67), coming in at par over the two day Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate tournament. Rounding out the month, the sophomore shot an impressive 10-under 134 at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic, a feat that landed him second out of the 88 golfers, while helping guide LIU to a 2nd place team finish as well.
