Fabozzi led the charge for the Seahawks in their lone game of the week, a 61-56 win over Le Moyne in Staten Island on Thursday. The team’s top scorer inked another stellar performance to her name after she tallied 24 points and added 13 boards for her third double-double of the season. Draining a pair of triples in the opening stanza against the Dolphins, the graduate student broke a 49-49 tie and gave Wagner the lead for good with her career-best fifth three-pointer with 4:32 left to play. Finishing the game shooting the three-ball at a 5-of-9 clip, Fabozzi shot 46.7 percent on the evening (7-of-15). This was not the first offensive explosion for the Staten Island product during NEC play this season, as she dropped a career- and NEC-leading 40 points in a triple overtime affair at LIU earlier this month. On the season, she ranks third in the circuit in scoring with 16.2 points per game, while her 6.6 boards per contest are good for sixth overall. This is her first NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office Player of the Week honor this season.
