FDU’s double-double machine turned the trick two more times for the undefeated Knights to push her league-leading total to 10, a career high. Brown got her week going with a 16-point, 14-rebound effort in a 74-70 win at Chicago State on Thursday. On Saturday against LIU, the graduate student was dominant in FDU’s commanding 30-point victory. Going 8-of-15 from the field, the Montego Bay, Jamaica product scored 23 points while pulling down 10 boards. It marked the sixth-straight game that she has put up double figures, while the 20-plus-point outing was her third of the year. With the weekend sweep, the Knights extended their winning streak to a program-best 14 games. Brown ranks eighth in the circuit in scoring (13.8 points per game) while leading all players on the boards (9.4 rebounds per game).
