Winford competed at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, gaining some course expertise at this years NEC Championship site in Williamsburg, VA. The sophomore's 16 over par 232 garnered a finish that saw her tie for 22nd in a field of 65. Following a rough start, shooting 10-over par in the first round, the Mooresville, NC native quickly rebounded by shooting conseuctive 3-over pars in the second and third rounds. Finishing the weekend with a 77.3 stroke average, she shot a 82-75-75 across the three rounds as the Eagles landed an eigth place team finish.
