The senior defeated Le Moyne’s Bernardo Teixeira in three sets (6-7, 6-3, 6-3) and Binghamton’s Filipe Costa in straight sets (7-5, 6-3) at No. 3 singles. The duo of Linley and Gryffin Minor downed Binghamton’s William Morais Binnie and Ronin Lotlikar, 6-4, to help clinch a key doubles point in the Knights’ 4-3 win over the Bearcats. FDU added a 5-2 league triumph over the Dolphins to improve to 3-0 in NEC play. For Linley, it marked his first career NEC Player of the Week award.
