Zuba went a combined 4-0 in all her matches last week as the Red Flash extended their winning streak to five. Playing from the top flight, Zuba claimed a three-set victory over Seton Hall’s Anastasia Sereda (6-2, 5-7, 1-0 (10-8)) as SFU defeated the Pirates, 5-2. The reigning NEC Rookie of the Year added a No. 2 singles win against George Washington’s Vaida Matuseviciute in straight sets (6-2, 7-5). Paired with Dasha Chichkina, the duo won both their No. 1 doubles matches against the Pirates (6-3) and the Revolutionaries (6-4). SFU took down GW, 5-2, to improve to 12-5 overall. Zuba is now 23-6 in singles play this season, and she has teamed up with Chichkina to register 17 doubles victories. This was Zuba's third NEC Player of the Week selection of her sophomore year.
