Oriakhi was one of the fastest athletes on track at the Tennessee Invite last week. The 2025 NEC Indoor MVP clocked a personal-best 13.78 to finish second in the 110m hurdles prelims while added a 13.96 in the finals to place third. The senior also ran a PR in the 400m hurdles with a 53.75 to finish fifth at the meet. Both times are league-bests, while his 13.78 in the 110m hurdles is tied for 29th nationally. Orakihi also ran as part of Chicago State’s 4x100m relay squad that finished 13th at the meet in 42.58, which ranks sixth in the NEC.
