In the Red Flash’s 5-2 win against NEC foe Stonehill, the junior defeated Lilah Shallcross in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, at No. 3 singles while adding a 6-3 doubles win alongside Morgan Tuffs on the second court. Dowuona added a 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 victory over Duquesne’s Sofia Lopez-Linares at the No. 4 flight. The Brampton, Ontario native has compiled 104 career singles victories, making her SFU’s all-time career wins leader. Dowuona owns a 21-11 singles on the year as the Red Flash sit at 13-5 overall and 6-0 in NEC play.
