Fechter continued to be a brick wall in the NEC, as the Colonials remain undefeated in conference play following a 14-4 win against Cleveland State on Saturday. Allowing only three goals, the sophomore tallied 10 saves for a .769 save percentage on the day. He sits third in the conference in all three major goalkeeping stats: goals against average (10.14), save percentage (.566) and saves per game (12.23). Fechter's three NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors tied him for most in the league this season. RMU plays at Le Moyne on Saturday with the winner serving as NEC Tournament host.
