Siverson closed out the regular season on a high note in Wagner’s pivotal conference win against Mercyhurst on Saturday. For the first time this season, the senior, who has netted at least one goal in each of her team’s 14 games this year, strung together consecutive hat tricks after she found the back of the net a season-best five times in the 11-10 triumph. Siverson was on an absolute tear to begin the game, as she found herself with a hat trick with 10:46 left in the opening quarter, just 4:14 after first draw. The midfielder scored each of the contest’s first three goals, all within a two-minute and 53-second stretch. After the Lakers responded with six-unanswered scores to take control of the lead, Siverson’s final goal came as part of a game-ending 4-0 run that resulted in the Seahawks erasing a 10-7 deficit with 13:29 left and come away with one-goal victory. In addition to the season-high scoring effort, Siverson caused three turnovers and added one ground ball. The Morristown, NJ native hit her stride during league play, as 21 of her team-leading 31 scores came during the nine-game slate that saw Wagner go 8-1 to win a share of the NEC regular season crown and earn the No. 2 seed in the NEC Tournament. This is Siverson’s first NEC Player of the Week award this season. In addition, her honor marks the first for a Seahawk in 2025.
