Mount Men's Golf Finishes Tied for 13th at Greensboro Regional at NCAA Golf Championships

Greensboro, NC -- Mount St. Mary's shot a 300 on the final day of the East Regional at the NCAA Golf Championships on Saturday. Devin O'Grady was the Mount's top performer, shooting a 71 on the final day to finish in a tie for 28th with a three-day score of 224.

O'Grady had birdies on the third, sixth and 12th holes for the Mount en route to his one-under score of 71 in Round 3. O'Grady was two-under par after the first nine holes on day three.

Tonny Aizpun shot a two-over par 74 in Round 3 to finish the tournament with a score of 232, good for a tie for 61st place overall. Aizpun had birdies on the 10th and 18th holes while recording a score of one-under over the final nine holes on day 3.

Ryan Triller finished tied for 64th with a score of 234 over the three rounds. He rounded out the competition with a 77 on Saturday with a one-over par 37 on the back nine.

Dan Michalek had a three-day total of 238 to finish in 69th place in the field. He had a score of 78 on the final day.

Kevin Ellison had a three-day total of 254 to finish in 75th place. He had a pair of birdies on Saturday for the Mount.

Liberty won the regional with a score of 868, followed by Florida (871), Auburn (874), Lamar (877) and Tulsa (878). Those five teams advance to the NCAA Championships.

Duke (881), Southern Methodist (883), UNLV (888), Indiana (894), Texas Tech (895), Charlotte (907), Louisiana-Lafayette (916), the Mount (928) and George Washington (928) rounded out the field.
