St. Francis Brooklyn Senior Midfielder Vincent Bezecourt Named NSCAA Third Team All-American

12/11/2015

Brooklyn Heights, NY -- St. Francis Brooklyn senior midfielder Vincent Bezecourt was named a Third Team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America on Friday morning.

Bezecourt finished the season with a team-high seven goals, which was good for fourth in the conference. He was also fourth in the NEC with 17 points. The First Team All Northeast Conference pick had his share of heroics this season, scoring two game winners in overtime against Lafayette and Central Connecticut State University. Last season, the Aire l'Adour native was named to the NEC's Second Team.

"I am so proud of Vincent on receiving this honor," said Terriers' head coach Tom Giovatto. "Within the past two years of working with him at St. Francis College, I have witnessed his continued work effort every day, both on and off the field, to improve his craft.  Myself, and the entire St. Francis Family are very excited to see what the future holds for Vincent. We are very confident that he will continue his success at the next level."

Bezecourt, who helped lead the Terriers to back-to-back NEC Championships in 2013 and 2014, is the second player during the Giovatto era to earn All-American status (Kevin Correa, 2013).
