Brendon Rodney placed 13th in the 200-meter dash at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by the University of Arkansas on Friday evening.
Rodney, the Northeast Conference Most Valuable Performer, was the lone NEC member to compete in the championships. He ran to a time of 21.05 in the fourth heat, missing out on a chance to compete in finals tomorrow. Baylor's Trayvon Bromell was the top finisher in preliminaries in 20.23.
Rodney will earn Second-Team All America honors for his performance for the third consecutive year.
