Saint Francis running back Khairi Dickson, Duquesne receiver Chris King, Sacred Heart linebacker James Rentz and Wagner defensive lineman Al Page headline the 2015 Preseason All-NEC Team. The league revealed the composition of the 27-member group during #NECFB Social Media Day at MetLife Stadium, Home of the NFL’s New York Giants and Jets. Sacred Heart and Saint Francis each came away with a conference-high six preseason all-NEC selections. The former has three on offense and three on defense. Meanwhile, half of SFU's representation is in the form of special teams. Red Flash occupy all three spots on the specialists' portion of the All-NEC Team, including the kick returner position that belongs to safety Lorenzo Jerome. Earning preseason honors at both return specialist and defensive back, Jerome is the league's lone double winner this year. NEC preseason favorite Bryant has four representatives on the 27-member team, all on the offensive side of the ball. The Bulldogs are the lone team with multiple selections along the offensive line as they return a pair of first team selections from last year’s 8-win season. The Preseason All-Team team consists of the following: Quarterback (1), Running Back (2), Receiver (3), Tight End/H-Back (1), Offensive Line (5), Defensive Line (4), Linebacker (4), Defensive Back (4), Placekicker (1), Punter (1), Return Specialist (1).
