This will be Williams' second career national team call up after earning his first cap in a 3-1 victory over Trinidad and Tobago on Aug. 11, 2010.
"I think I'm at a stage in my career where I'm ready for a call like this," said Williams in a press release from his professional team, Louisville City FC of the United Soccer League (USL). "I just stayed prepared, because I knew it was going to come one day."
