NEC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Matlach scored three points in two games as Fairfield went 3-0 to start the season. In a 3-2 win over Hofstra on Friday assisted the third goal which proved to be the difference maker as Fairfield sustained a second half surge. The senior tallied the game-winning goal in a 1-0 double overtime victory at Sacred Heart to open the NEC slate on Thursday.

Zoe Rosen registered two shutouts in the first three games of the 2021 spring season. She made five saves in a 3-0 victory over Albany to open the season last Tuesday. Against Sacred Heart, the senior made two saves to secure a 1-0 overtime victory. For the week, Rosen owned a 0.63 goals against average and a .818 save percentage in three starts.
