Rogers was also a Second Team All-GAC selection following the 2019-20 season.
Coach Mason on Raekwon Rogers: "I'm pumped to have Raekwon join our basketball program. He addressed a need for us, not just bringing in a big guy, but a productive big guy. After evaluating him, we felt like his production will translate well to our conference. A productive post player was certainly a need for us. From a player standpoint, he fits, but he also does from a culture standpoint. Getting to know him as a person, we learned that he is about the same things that we are about as a program."
Jahbril Price Noel
Guard | 6'7" 215
Scarborough, Ontario
Pacific
Price Noel will join the Seahawks following three years with fellow D-I institution Pacific. In three seasons with the Tigers, the Ontario native appeared in 51 games with 10 starts, averaging 5.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 16.8 minutes per game. Price Noel converted 36.9 percent of his three-pointers at Pacific, including a 45.5 percent mark during the 2019-20 season.
Coach Mason on Jahbril Price Noel: "We are really excited about Jahbril as well. He gives us versatility, he's super skilled and really big as a 6'7 guard. We will be able to use him in multiple different ways with his skillset. I'm really excited to have him. His basketball IQ, his knowledge, and his feel for the game are going to allow us to play a dynamic style of basketball."
Rob Taylor II
Forward | 6'7" 205
Brooklyn, NY
St Marks (MA)
Rob Taylor is one of two players from Brooklyn to join the Seahawk basketball program this year. The 6'7" forward earned First Team All-NEPSAC Class B honors while averaging 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks at St. Marks. Taylor also played AAU basketball on the Under Armour Circuit for New Heights (NY).
Coach Mason on Rob Taylor: "Rob is a special kid. He's wise beyond his years and a really good person in getting to know him during the recruiting process. If this had been a normal recruiting cycle, I don't know if we had gotten him. He's 6'7", really skilled, and a dynamic athlete. If he can stand up to the challenges he will face every day in practice, he can be a key contributor for us as a freshman."
Zaire Williams
Guard | 6'4" 180
Brooklyn, NY
Eagle Academy (NY)
Zaire Williams is a local product from Brooklyn, where he was named Class AA All-State as a junior at Eagle Academy. In his final season, Williams averaged 18 points, four rebounds, and five assists per game. An athletically gifted guard, Williams is a dangerous shooter and can score in various ways.
Coach Mason On Zaire Williams: "We are really excited to have Zaire as a part of our program. He is another dynamic guard who is versatile coming off the bounce. One thing that really stuck out to me in recruiting Zaire from a basketball standpoint was his ability to make perimeter jump shots, which was certainly a need for us as a program. He's a tough kid from Brooklyn and we are thrilled to have him join our team."
Javier Esquerra Trelles
Guard | 6'1" 175
San Juan, Puerto Rico
IMG Academy
Starting Point Guard for IMG Academy's Post Grad Team which was ranked number one in the nation last season, averaging eight points and eight rebounds in his final season. Esquerra Trelles was also a member of the Puerto Rico U19 team. The San Juan, Puerto Rico native previously played for current assistant coach
Bobby Jordan while at IMG.
Coach Mason on Javier Esquerra Trelles: "Javier is a college ready point guard, coming from IMG Academy and playing on a national program there, playing and practicing against high level competition throughout the year. The really exciting part about Javier is that he played as a pass first point guard at IMG and he ran that role well. The dynamic that we know about him because coach Bobby (Jordan) coached him is that he can really score the ball. He'll give us that two-headed point guard where he can run the show, but he can also score the ball."
