In a dual meet against St. Bonaventure, Pifarre snatched gold in two events in a tight 106-99 setback on Thursday. The sophomore from Balaguer, Spain swam the 500 freestyle in 5:13.20 and her time of 10:49.71 in the 1000 freestyle was over 40 seconds ahead of the rest of the field.

Johnson took first in the 1-meter dive at the Battle at the Burr racking up 236.2 points against Georgetown this past Thursday.
NEC WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Zuzu Nwaeze, HU
Fr., Columbia, MD
In her first dual meet against Georgetown in the Battle at the Burr in Washington, D.C., Nwaeze took gold in the 200 freestyle (1:54.92) and finished third in the 100 butterfly (58.61). The rookie out of Columbia, MD was also a member of the 200 freestyle relay team, which placed first with a time of 1:37.57.

In a dual meet against St. Bonaventure, Turner grabbed gold in 100 butterfly (58.96) and second in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.00) on Thursday. Turner also swam on the winning 200 medley relay team that touched in 1:49.21.
Krista Weik, SFU, Sr.
Weik placed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.45) and silver in the 200 individual medley (2:11.91) in a dual meet against St. Bonaventure on Thursday.
