Charlottesville, VA -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team's season came to an end on Friday afternoon as the Knights fell 4-0 to Virginia from the Virginia Tennis Facility. The Knights ended the season with ten wins and its 14th NEC Championship in program history.

How it Happened
- Sophomore Arjun Sriram and graduate student Moric Budinszky played in number three doubles and were the first match finished, but fell 6-2.
- Junior Teodors Pukse and senior Niclas Pietsch played in number one doubles against Bar Botzer and Chris Rodesch before falling 6-3 as Virginia earned the doubles point.
- Senior Mehdi Dhouib and junior Younes Adnane played a competitive match in number two doubles before the match went unfinished 4-3.
- The Cavaliers took the first singles point when Gianni Ross topped Pietsch in number four singles by a 6-1, 6-0 margin.
- The final two bouts that Virginia won were in number one singles against Pukse and number five singles against Budinszky.
- In number two singles, Dhouib was in the midst of a competitive second set 2-3, after dropping the first set 6-4 before his match went unfinished.
- Adnane held a 4-2 lead in the second set in number six singles after falling 6-0 in the first set before the match also went unfinished.
- In number three singles, Sriram fell 6-0 in the first set but was leading 4-1 in the second before the match ended.
