Queens, NY -- St. Francis Brooklyn men's tennis completed a historic season on Friday afternoon, bowing out of the NCAA Tournament after falling to #13 Columbia. The Terriers battled but fell by a score of 4-0 to the Ivy League Champions.
The 2023 season ended with 10 wins and the first Northeast Conference title in program history.
In doubles action, the Lions captured victories in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, while No. 1 remained unfinished as that matchup had remained on serve to that point.
Columbia proved why they are ranked amongst the best in the nation, keeping the pedal down in singles. They won in No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 singles to capture the win. No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles remained unfinished.
