NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Gianna Inzerillo, Sr., F, Central Connecticut
Manorville, NY/Eastport South Manor
Inzerillo scored two goals off three shots on goal in CCSU's season-opening 3-0 victory against Siena on Thursday, including the match's game-winner in the 14th minute. She tacked on an insurance goal in the 63rd minute. The Blue Devils went 1-1 last week. 

Ella Cormier, Jr., F, Merrimack
Acton, MA/Acton-Boxborough
Cormier netted two goals, including the game-winner in the 88th minute, to secure Merrimack's 2-1 win over UMass Lowell on Thursday. Cormier tied the game up in the 6th minute, then converted an Emily McCabe feed with 2:20 on the clock to clinch the match. Cormier totaled five shots in the Warriors' 1-1 week.

NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Caroline Nuttall, Gr., D, LIU
Willistown, NY/St. Anthony's (Hofstra)
Nuttall anchored the LIU defense last week as the Sharks opened the season with back-to-back shutout victories. The Nuttall-led defense allowed only six shots on goal during its wins over Saint Peter's and Rider.

NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Keely Thomas, R-Fr., GK, LIU
Richmond, VA/Maggie L. Walker Governor's School (Longwood)
In her first collegiate appearances, Thomas posted back-to-back shutouts while making six total saves in victories over Saint Peter's and Rider. The redshirt freshman also finished the weekend with a 1.000 save percentage.

NEC PRIME PERFORMERS

Giavanna Inzerillo, Sr., F, CCSU
In two matches for CCSU, Inzerillo tallied four points off two goals and three total shots on goal.

Charlotte Simmons, Jr., D, CCSU
Simmons anchored the CCSU defense with a number of key tackles in the box to lead the Blue Devils to a shutout win over Siena on Thursday with the Saints totaling only three shots on goal. 

Noa Bartels van Bosbeek, Fr., F, LIU
Bartels van Bosbeek scored one goal in a 3-0 triumph against Saint Peter's and assisted on the game's lone goal in a 1-0 win over Rider.

Caroline Nuttall, Gr., D, LIU
Nuttall led the LIU defense to two straight shutouts to open the season. 

Keely Thomas, R-Fr., GK, LIU
Thomas made six saves and posted a 1.000 save percentage in a 2-0 week. 

Ella Cormier, Jr., F, MC
Cormier scored two goals, including a late game-winner vs. UMass-Lowell, as Merrimack went 1-1 on opening weekend. 

Kyran Thievon Fr., GK, SHU
In her first collegiate appearances, Thievon made 14 saves last week and posted an .824 save percentage in SHU's west coast swing at San Diego State and UC San Diego.
