Fresh off an NEC Rookie of the Year campaign, Schelb impressed in his sophomore season debut with two goals and an assist in the Red Flash's 3-0 triumph against St. Bonaventure last Thursday. Schelb opened the scoring for the NEC preseason favorite in the 21st minute off a free kick from 22 yards out. In the 37th minute, the Germany native served a cross in the box to set up a Fabian Wagner header to increase the SFU lead to two. He added a header of his own in the 54th minute to secure the Red Flash victory. Schelb totaled five points in SFU's third consecutive season-opening win.
NEC MEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

In his first appearance as a Shark, Njike created a breakaway opportunity in the 58th minute to net the game-winning goal in LIU's 2-1 win over Stony Brook on Thursday. The French striker tacked on an assist in LIU's first strike in the 41st minute. Njike totaled four shots, with three coming on target, in a 2-0 week for the defending NEC champions. The Sharks also posted a 1-0 road win at Albany on Sunday.

Recorded two goals in FDU's 3-2 triumph against Manhattan in the Knights' season opener.
NK Tima, Gr., D, FDU
In the 76th minute, Tima headed in the game-winner off a Takuto Nishide cross against the Jaspers.
Brady McNulty, Sr., B, LEM
In his Le Moyne debut, McNulty's 64th minute strike helped the Dolphins prevail with a 3-2 win over Canisius on Thursday. Le Moyne went 1-1 on the week.
Eoin Gawronski, Gr., GK, LIU
In a 2-0 week for LIU, Gawronski made 11 saves while allowing just one goal. The graduate student posted a 0.500 GAA and .917 save percentage over the weekend. He recorded a clean sheet in a 1-0 win at Albany on Sunday.
Jesper Mikkelsen, Gr., F, LIU
Scored the game-winning goal with under 18 minutes to go in LIU's 1-0 win at Alabny.
