NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gabriella Garcia-Terrell, So., F., Howard
Centreville, VA/Westfield
Garcia-Terrell netted a brace in Howard's 4-1 win over Hampton in the HBCU classic on Sunday. The 2024 NEC Rookie of the Year fired three shots on goal against Hampton and scored both of her goals in the second half. Garcia-Terrell's first goal came in the 49th minute and doubled Howard's lead, and the second goal capped off a four-goal outburst for the Bison.

Hornyak played a crucial role in Delaware State's 1-0 win over Alabama A&M in the season opener for the Hornets. The freshman made seven saves and kept a clean sheet in her collegiate debut.

Grace Hennig, R-Sr., F, LIU
Hennig scored the equalizer in LIU's 1-1 draw against Manhattan on Friday night. Her goal came just two minutes after Manhattan took the lead.

Adri Lika, So., GK, Mercyhurst
Lika made nine saves in Mercyhurst's season opening draw against Northern Kentucky on Thursday afternoon. The sophomore made an additional save in the Lakers' 1-0 loss to UMBC on Sunday.

Vanessa Lovisa, Fr., M, Wagner
Lovisa scored a late goal in Wagner's 1-1 draw against UMBC on Thursday night. Her equalizer came in the 87th minute and helped Wagner earn a draw against the Retrievers.
