Bryant: The Bulldogs cruised to a 201-60 victory over Holy Cross in their final home meet of the season. Bryant honored its eight-member senior class prior to the meet with the Crusaders. Junior Casey Ostrander (Yarmouthport, MA/Barnstable) broke her own pool record in the 100 back with a time of 57.20, while also winning the 200 free and helping both the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams to victories. Brianne Dwyer (Hicksville, NY/St. Anthony’s), Taylor DeBever (Denver, CO/Regis) and Molly Smith (Belmont, MA/Belmont) all won two events for the Bulldogs. Abby Whittaker (Salisbury, MA/Saint Thomas Aquinas)helped the 200 medley relay team to victory and finished second in the 50 fly and 200 IM.
Central Connecticut: The Blue Devils will be out of the pool until the NEC Championship weekend February 22-25.
Mount St. Mary’s: The Mount squared off against in-state rival Loyola in the final non-conference event of the season but fell 147-115 to the Greyhounds. Mount was led by Cat Coppler (Enfield, CT/Enrico Fermi) and Erin Regan (Fort Washington, PA/Upper Dublin) who both posted two victories for the day. Coppler won the 200 back (2:24.54) and 200 IM (2:29.83) while Regan posted victories in the 800 free (9:32.41) and 400 free (4:36.55). Seniors Molly Kristiniak (Oreland, PA/Gwynedd Mercy Academy) and Chelsea Marrocco (Old Bridge, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) were honored before the final home meet of the careers.
Sacred Heart: The Pioneer’s will next take to the pool at the NEC Championships on February 22.
St. Francis (NY): The Terriers will next swim on February 8 as they battle Queens College.
Saint Francis (PA): The Red Flash have completed their regular season schedule and will next swim at the league Championships on February 22.
Wagner: The Seahawks will compete again on February 22 at the NEC Championship meet.
