NEC MEN’S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Fredinho Mompremier, Fairleigh Dickinson

Mompremier scored two goals and tallied two assists in three wins for the Knights, who are off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 2013. The junior forward assisted on Jacob Labovitz's equalizer, then scored the game-winner with 90 seconds remaining as FDU rallied for two goals in the final nine minutes to post a 2-1 win over previously unbeaten Army on Monday night. On the game winner, the Limbe, Haiti native fought off an Army defender in the box and sent a strike into the upper 90. Mompremier also scored once in a 3-1 win over Manhattan then followed with an assist in a 2-0 victory over Yale. He named to the Top Drawer Men’s Soccer Team of the Week and now has a team-high eight points on the year with three goals and two assists.

NEC MEN’S SOCCER CO-ROOKIES OF THE WEEK
Tiago Capela, Fairleigh Dickinson

Capela earned wins in his first two collegiate starts, allowing just one goal while making 13 saves for the Knights. He turned away eight shots and posted a clean sheet in a 2-0 win at Yale on Friday. Three days later the redshirt freshman stopped five shots in FDU's 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Army that boosted the Knights' record to 4-0 on the year. Capela finished with a 0.50 GAA and .929 save percentage on the week.

Filippo Pirola, Central Connecticut
Fr, D, Milan, Italy/Liceo Scientifico A. Banfi

Pirola was named to the All-Tournament team at the Peter Baldwin Memorial Classic after helping the Blue Devils to the tourney title. He anchored a CCSU backline that surrendered just one goal in two wins and held FGCU scoreless for the first time since October 13, 2015. FGCU, which led the nation in scoring in 2016, received votes in the latest College Soccer News national poll, but was unable to break through in the Blue Devils' 2-0 victory.

NEC  PRIME PERFORMERS

CCSU junior forward Louis Beddouri (Bordeaux, Francs/Lycee Lauga Bayonne) earned MVP honors after the Blue Devils went 2-0 to win the Peter  Baldwin Memorial Classic. Scored a goal in a 2-0 win over FGCU, who received votes in the latest College Soccer News national poll.

FDU redshirt junior Ahu Obhakhan (Droghead, Ireland/St. Joseph CBS) scored three goals in three games for the Knights including both goals in a 2-0 victory at Yale.

SFU freshman midfielder Lucas Rosa (Atibaia, Brazil/COC Atibaia) recorded his first career points with a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win over No. 20 Old Dominion. Fellow Red Flash teammate Mario Mastrangelo (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) scored two goals in the 5-3 win over Old Dominion, including what proved to be the game-winner.

St. Francis Brooklyn sophomore forward Matteo Caribotti (Massa, Italy/Lico Scientifico E. Fermi) scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Lafayette. Fellow Terrier Sami Gliguem (Paris, France/Paris X Nanterre University) scored three goals and tallied an assist in two games for SFBK. The junior scored two goals and an assist in a 3-1 win over George Washington and then scored a goal in a 3-2 win over Saint Peter’s.
