NEC WOMEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jessica Mazzur, Saint Francis U
Jr., M, Dallastown, PA/York Catholic

Mazzur tallied 18 points in three games for Saint Francis U last week. The junior midfielder scored four goals an had an assist in a 20-7 win at Hartford last Monday, then set a career-high with seven points on three goals and a personal-best four assists in a narrow 18-15 loss to Duquesne on Thursday. The Dallastown, PA native followed that up by matching her career-high with five goals to go along with an assist in a 13-12 overtime victory at Kennesaw State. Mazzur also led the team with 14 ground balls and caused five turnovers.

NEC WOMEN'S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lucy Darlington, Wagner
Sr., GK, Timonium, MD/Notre Dame Academy

Darlington came up big for Wagner on Saturday, leading the Seahawks to an impressive 15-11 victory over Patriot League member Lehigh that has a one-goal loss to No. 12 Penn State on its resume. The senior goalkeeper stopped 14 Mountain Hawk shots and collected one ground ball in the win.  

NEC WOMEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ally Alliegro, Wagner
Fr., M, Bayport, NY/Bayport Blue Point

Alliegro scored a career-high five goals in Wagner’s 15-11 win over a Lehigh team picked to finish third in the Patriot League preseason poll. The freshman completed her hat trick with 5:11 left in the first half to tie the game at six apiece. The freshman also added a draw control and one caused turnover in Saturday's victory.
 

NEC PRIME PERFORMERS (WEEK 3)
The following players earned “NEC Prime Performer status” after accounting for some fine statistical lines...


BIANCA SANTUCCI (LIU BROOKLYN)
- Scored four goals, including two in final three minutes of LIU’s game against Radford. Also added two ground balls and an assist.

EMMA AHLRICHS  (BRYANT)
- Tallied a career-high four goals in a 20 minute span in Bryant's 17-2 win over Hartford. Ahlrichs also had two draw controls and a ground ball.

KELLY COLEGROVE (ROBERT MORRIS)
- Posted career-highs of five ground balls and five caused turnovers against George Washington.

LAUREN EDNIE (WAGNER)
- Score four goals and added a team-high four ground balls, three draw controls and a caused turnover in Wagner's 15-11 win over Lehigh.
