NEVENA DIMITRIJEVIC, ST. FRANCIS BROOKLYN

Week 3 Stats:
21.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 6.0 apg, 2.0 spg, .889 FT pct.
Dimitrijevic exceeded the 20-point mark in back-to-back non-conference victories. Going up against a pair of Patriot League members, she averaged 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.0 steals per win. Pacing the circuit in scoring last week, the first-year Terrier shot 43.8 percent from the field and connected at an 88.9 percent clip from the free throw line. Dimitrijevic put forth a sensational all-around effort in a 70-64 triumph over Army, tallying a game-high 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. She committed only one turnover and made a pair of steals in the win. Highlighted by a 4-for-7 clip from downtown, Dimitrijevic netted 22 points during Sunday’s victory over Loyola (MD). The 89-78 win marked the fifth consecutive contest during which the 5-foot-3 guard has logged at least five assists.

AROUND THE ARC
BRYANT owns the NEC’s best rebounding margin (+2.00/g) with senior forward Sydney Holloway, the NEC’s leading rebounder (11.4 rpg), spearheading the effort.

CENTRAL CONNECTICUT will meet a member of a different DI conference for the fifth time in five games this season (MAC, ACC, A-10, Ivy, Patriot) when it faces A-10 member Duquesne in Pittsburgh on November 26.

FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON will look to get first-year head coach Angelika Szumilo her first career victory when Patriot League member Army visits the Rothman Center (Nov. 30) for the Knights’ final home game until December 19.

LONG ISLAND, which saw four players score in double figures during a 65-60 setback to Patriot League member Lafayette, returns home to the Steinberg Wellness for battles against fellow Empire State inhabitants Stony Brook (Nov. 27) and Hofstra (Nov. 30).

MERRIMACK, which is shooting a league-best 83.5 percent from the free throw line, paces the circuit in scoring defense (60.8) and field goal percentage defense (.347).

MOUNT ST. MARY’S, secured 29 takeaways while committing only nine turnovers of its own, posted a win over America East member UMBC for the second year in a row.

ROBERT MORRIS, which is 1-3 in games decided by 5 points or fewer, dropped heartbreakers to Kent State and Columbia by a combined three points last week.

SACRED HEART, which is 2-0 at home, but won’t play at the Pitt Center again until December 14 when Holy Cross visits, will spend Thanksgiving Weekend in Las Vegas at the 2019 South Point Shootout where the Pioneers will face Detroit Mercy and Nebraska.

SAINT FRANCIS U boasts two of the league’s top-seven early-season field goal pct. leaders – juniors Haley Thomas (.857 – 5th) and Karson Swogger (.769 – 7th).

ST. FRANCIS BROOKLYN features the conference’s top-two scoring leaders – senior guard Jade Johnson (19.4 ppg) and junior forward Ally Lassen (18.4 ppg).

WAGNER, which saw its three-game win streak halted by Youngstown State (Nov. 23), won thanks to a last-second shot for the second time this season when Khaleah Edwards’ drive to the bucket lifted the Seahawks over NJIT, 61-59, on November 19.
