NEC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Erin McGinley, Fairfield
Sr., F, Plymouth Meeting, PA/Mt. St. Joseph's Academy
McGinley turned a hat trick and dished out an assist in Fairfield’s 9-1 victory over Mercyhurst on Sunday. The senior forward had a hand in three of the Stags’ first four goals against the Lakers as she scored the first and third tallies, then set up the fourth. The Plymouth Meeting, PA native added an exclamation point for the Stags, scoring the final goal of the game. The win marked the second time in program history Fairfield scored nie or more goals in a game. It was McGinley’s first career hat trick along with her first multi-goal game.
Emma McGrory, Stonehill
Fr., M, East Hampton, NY/East Hampton
In a 2-0 week for Stonehill, McGrory shined by scoring both game-winning goals. During a 3-2 overtime thriller against Rider on Friday, the now two-time NEC Rookie of the Week found the back of the cage at the 3:36 mark of the first OT period to cap off a Skyhawk comeback. She notched the goal in breakaway fashion and slid the ball by the charging Broncs' goalie. In Sunday’s 1-0 triumph against Saint Louis, McGrory scored 6:49 into the second quarter to make the difference for the Skyhawks. Her two game winners now tie her for second in the conference rankings. The two goals marked the second and third of her colleigate career.
NEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mia DiGenova, Saint Francis U
So., GK, King of Prussia, PA/Bishop Shanahan
Earning her second NEC Defensive Player of the Week award, DiGenova stopped 13 shots in a 1-1 week for the Red Flash. Her three saves in a 2-0 shutout over NEC foe Sacred Heart helped SFU improve to 3-0 in conference play for the second time in program history and first time since 2012. It marked her third shutout of the year. In a 2-1 road setback against a hot Drexel squad, DiGenova made 10 saves, including a stop on a penalty stroke. Her 10 saves are the second-most the King of Prussia, PA native has posted in a game during the 2024 campaign. The sophomore goalkeeper posted a 1.00 GAA and .867 save percentage on the week. DiGenova paces the league in save percentage with a .800 mark and her three shutouts are tied for the conference lead.
NEC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Pilar Mengotti, Jr., D (FAIR)
Scored the game-winning goal in the Stags' 3-1 win against Wagner and dished out two assist against Mercyhurst.
Catalina Ness, So., F/M (FAIR)
Handed out four assists in a 2-0 week, while making a defensive save for the Stags against the Seahawks.
Alex Senior, Jr., F (FAIR)
Totaled five points on two goals and an assist in a 2-0 week, including a goal and an assist against NEC rival Wagner.
Mia DiGenova, So., GK (SFU)
Claimed her second NEC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
Madison Waldspurger, Jr., D (SFU)
Found the back of the cage twice in two games, including the game winner against the Pioneers. Additionally, she made a highlight reel defensive save in the first quarter against SHU. She scored in back-to-back games for the second time in her career.
Shannon Conte, Sr., GK (STO)
Made 12 saves while posting a .857 save percentage, a 0.98 GAA and a shutout in a 2-0 week. She made six of her seven saves against Rider in the fourth quarter to help spark the Skyhawks' 3-2 comeback victory in overtime.
Emma McGrory, Fr., M (STO)
Named NEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week and NEC Rookie of the Week. This marked her second Rookie of the Week selection.
Floortje Leunisse, So., F (WC)
Found the back of the cage once and dished out an assist during a weekend of tough road competition for the Seahawks against Fairfield and Big East foe Temple.
