NEC WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Olivia Bishop, Wagner
Sr., Surprise, AZ / Valley Vista
In a tri-meet against Sacred Heart and Iona on Saturday, Bishop swept her events. The Seahawk veteran took gold in the 50-yard free with a top-six NEC time of 24.83 followed by a gold finish in the 100-yard free, touching in 53.17 which ranks second in the league. Bishop and the Wagner 400-yard free relay squad took first with a time of 3:37.40. Bishop helped guide the Seahawks to a 128-77 triumph over Iona as well as a 134-103 victory over NEC foe Sacred Heart. 

NEC WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Olivia McNicholas, Sacred Heart
Sr., Hicksville, NY / Kellenberg Memorial
A repeat NEC Diver of the Week, McNicholas swept the diving platforms with season-best scores in a tri-meet against Wagner and Iona on Saturday. The senior totaled 237.90 points from the 1-meter board followed by an even 253.00 points from the 3-meter platform. 

NEC WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Rebekka Luoto, Wagner
Fr., Raisio, Finland / Kerttuli
Luoto had a remarkable debut to her collegiate career on Saturday against Sacred Heart and Iona. The rookie swept her events, taking gold in her very first individual race with a time of 5:16.29 in the 500-yard free which ranks fourth in the NEC. She also took first in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing in 2:25.76 which is the top time in the league this fall. Luoto helped the 400-yard medley relay team to a first place finish, clocking in at 3:58.50 to helping Wagner secure the victory. 

NEC MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Nikkolai Carrillo, Wagner
Fr., Santa Barbara, CA / Dos Pueblos
In a dual meet against Iona on Saturday, Carrillo led Wagner in the pool in a tight five-point setback. The rookie from Santa Barbara, CA helped guide the 400-yard medley relay squad to third place in 3:33.28. Carrillo swept his individual races, earning his first colegiate victory in the 200-yard IM tocuhing in 1:55.58, which stands as the top time in the NEC. He followed with a gold finish in the 200-yard fly, setting a school reocrd time of 1:54.52. It was also the fastest time in the event this season in the conference. 

NEC MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Jordan Walker, Howard
Jr., San Antonio, TX
Now a back-to-back NEC Diver of the Week, Walker stood atop the podium after posting a winning score of 239.10 points from the 1-meter board in a dual meet against Mount St. Mary's on Saturday.

In a dual meet against Iona on Saturday, Carrillo led Wagner in the pool in a tight five-point setback. Alana Josey, Sr., HU
  • Josey won the 400-meter IM in a dual meet at Mount St. Mary's, clocking in at 4:41.86, which is the second-fastest time in the NEC.
Zuilda Nwaeze, So., HU
  • Nwaeze won the 100-meter free in a dual meet at Mount St. Mary's, touching in a conference-best mark of 52.78. She place first in the 800-meter free (9:46.00) and helped the 400-meter free relay squad to gold (4:01.69).
Olivia McNicholas, Sr., SHU

Sophia Velleco, Fr., SHU 
  • Velleco earned a pair of silver medals after touching the wall in 1:56.91 in the 200-yard free, which ranks third in the NEC, and a 5:18.22 in the 500-yard free, which ranks fifth in the league. She helped the 400-yard free relay team to third place with a time of 3:39.48.

  • In a tri-meet on Saturday, Wagner took first place by defeating Iona, 128-77, and Sacred Heart, 143-103. Vilarrasa helped the Seahawks to a first place finish after sweeping her events. The sophomore had winning times in the 200-yard free, touching at 1:56.29 which ranks second in the NEC, and in the 200-yard back in 2:09.04, the fastest time in the league this season. She also was part of the winning relay squad in the 400-yard free that finished in 3:37.40.

Taj Benton, So., HU
  • Benton won the 50-meter free in a dual meet at Mount St. Mary's, clocking in at 21.59, which is second-fastest mark in the NEC.
Luke-Kennedy Thomspon, Gr., HU
  • Thompson finished as the runner-up in the 100-meter breaststroke in a dual meet at Mount St. Mary's, producing a 58.55 mark that ranks second in the conference.
Jordan Walker, Jr., HU
