NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Giavanna Inzerillo, Central Connecticut
Sr., Forward, Manorville, NY/Eastport South Manor
Inzerillo tallied seven points last week off three goals and one assist as CCSU went 1-1. The senior forward secured her first career hat trick and added an assist in a 5-2 victory over in-state rival Fairfield on Thursday, including an incredible, looping 35+ yard bomb from the right wing that sailed over the keeper high into the far post netting to give the Blue Devils a 4-2 lead in the 73rd minute. Inzerillo, who opened the scoring for CCSU in the 30th minute, then iced the game with her third goal just 35 seconds later. She rang up six shots in the Blue Devils' two matches last week. Inzerillo leads the NEC in goals (six) and also sits atop the league in points (13) through seven matches played. The Manorville, NY native is tied for seventh among all Division I players fin goals and is tied for 10th nationally in scoring.
NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Roo Sawyer, Merrimack

Sawyer made seven saves in a 0-0 draw on the road against New Hampshire on Thursday. The sophomore goalkeeper faced 22 shots in the match and made seven saves for the first clean sheet of her career. Sawyer currently has a 0.40 goals against average over 224 minutes played. The Londonderry, NH native has allowed just one goal this season in two starts.
NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Noa Bartels van Bosbeek, LIU
Fr., Forward, Güéjar Sierra, Granada, Spain/IES Miguel de Cervantes
van Bosbeek netted the game winning goal in the 87th minute to give LIU a 2-1 victory over VMI on Sunday. Gina Proviano set the ball up for van Bosbeek on the left side of the box giving the freshman forward the opportunity to score with her left foot. Her goal broke a 1-1 tie that had painted the scoreboard since the 23rd minute. van Bosbeek's goal marked the first game winner of her career. She currently ranks fourth in the NEC in goals (two) and fifth in points (five).

- Totaled six shots in a 1-1 week for CCSU.

Noa Bartels van Bosbeek, LIU (Fr., F)
- Scored the game winning goal in the 87th minute to lift LIU to a 2-1 win over VMI on Sunday.
- First game winning goal of her career.
- Ranks fourth in the NEC in goals (two) and fifth in points (five).
- Tabbed NEC Rookie of the Week for the first time.

- Made seven saves on 22 shots faced in a 0-0 draw against New Hampshire on Thursday.
- Marked her first career shutout.
