Smith tallied five points over two matches in Delaware State's split. The junior played a starring role, assisted on the first goal and scoring the second in the Hornets' 2-1 win over her former school, Temple, on Thursday night. Smith netted another goal in Sunday's match against Mount St. Mary's and is now tied for the NEC lead with five points on the season.
NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Thomas played 135 minutes between the woodwork without allowing a goal in a 1-0-1 week for LIU. The Richmond, VA native held Albany scoreless and made a save in the first half of their match on Thursday before she was subbed off. Thomas played the entire 90 minutes against Quinnipiac on Monday afternoon and kept a clean sheet that included six saves to earn the Sharks a 2-0 win. She ranks second in the conference in GAA (0.67) and save percentage (.833).

Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic
Kerr scored the lone Saint Francis goal of the week and helped the Red Flash earn a draw with Cleveland State on Thursday night. The freshman opened the scoring in the 25th minute, tallying her first collegiate goal in the process.

Suttle struck for the game-winning goal in the 70th minute of Howard's 2-1 win over American on Thursday afternoon.

Hall netted her first goal of the season in LIU's victory over Quinnipiac on Sunday. The senior's goal came early in the second half and doubled the Sharks' lead.
Keely Thomas, R-Jr., GK, LIU
NEC Defensive Player of the Week.
Shae McGinty, Sr., GK, Wagner
McGinty kept a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Iona on Sunday to help the Seahawks stay unbeaten on the young campaign (1-0-3). The Levittown, NY product made five saves in the match.
