NEC MEN’S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Salvatore Barone, St. Francis Brooklyn
Sr., M, Brooklyn, NY/Xaverian

Barone had three points in two wins for the Terriers. On Friday, Barone scored his fourth goal of the season with under a minute remaining and added an assist in the Terriers’ 2-0 victory over Saint Francis U. Against Robert Morris on Sunday, Barone assisted on the opening goal in a 2-0 victory over the Colonials. The senior ranks second on the team in goals (four) and assists (two).

NEC MEN’S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
David Bokumabi, Fairleigh Dickinson
So., M, Oberthal, Germany/Saarbrucken

Bokumabi scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in Fairleigh Dickinson’s 2-0 victory over Bryant on Saturday. The sophomore hooked a shot into the upper-right corner of the net from 25-yards out to put the Knights up 1-0 early in the second half. It was the second goal of Bokumabi’s season and the first conference win of the season for the Knights.

NEC HEADLINES

- In the October 11, NSCAA Division I Men Northeast Region Poll, Saint Francis U was ranked sixth with defending NEC champion LIU Brooklyn moving up two spots to number four.

- Saint Francis U defeated LIU Brooklyn 3-0 on Sunday, handing the Blackbirds their first conference loss since the 2014 season.
