NEC WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jess DeMeo, Bryant
So., M, Mount Sinai, NY/Mount Sinai
DeMeo made it back-to-back NEC Player of the Week awards after powering the Bulldogs to back-to-back NEC victories. She totaled eight goals in wins over Sacred Heart and LIU Brooklyn while also averaging 2.5 groundballs and 1.5 draw controls per victory. She found the back of the net five times during Sunday’s 11-5 road win over Sacred Heart. That five-goal performance came two days after DeMeo turned a hat trick in a 19-7 triumph over LIU Brooklyn.
 
NEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jillian Petito, Mount St. Mary's
So., GK, Ocean City, MD/Stephen Decatur
Petito limited her opponents to 8.0 goals per game during her two starts between the pipes last week. Facing the NEC’s Keystone State contingent, she made 20 saves and posted a .556 save percentage.  Petito earned a 12-9 victory over Saint Francis U on Sunday, turning away eight shots and securing two groundballs. Against Robert Morris, Petitio made 12 stops on the way to recording a season-best .632 save percentage. The sophomore leads the NEC in conference play with a save percentage of .556.
 
NEC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Megan Szawlowski, Central Connecticut
Fr., M, Leeds, MA/Williston Northampton
The rookie scorer continued her offensive production last week, totaling 10 points in two games. She scored six goals and added four assists as the Blue Devils split a pair of conference contests. Szawlowski recorded four goals, three assists and a career-high eight draw controls in a 13-12 win over LIU Brooklyn. All four of her goals came in the first half, helping the Blue Devils build a 10-3 lead by the break. Szawlowski assisted on the game-winning tally with 1:53 remaining in the second half. Two days earlier, she rattled the cage twice and added an assist in a one-goal setback to Sacred Heart.
 

Other Prime Performers

Marissa Soto (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) jumpstarted Central Connecticut's offense by scoring eight goals over the weekend.

Tori Shinkowitz (Laurel Springs, NJ/Sterling) led LIU Brooklyn with eight goals.

RMU GK Katelyn Miller (Bel Air, MD/C. Milton Wright) stopped 17 shots across two contests, both wins.

Annie Sachs (Baldwin, MD/Dulaney High School) scored six goals, including a game-winner, and logged an assist during RMU’s 2-0 week.
