NEC MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Max Tuttle, Sacred Heart
Sr., M, Castle Rock, CO/Castle View

Tuttle registered five goals apiece in Sacred Heart's wins over Stony Brook and Hartford last week. The senior totaled 11 points in two games and delivered a highlight reel game-winning goal in overtime against Stony Brook on Tuesday. Against the Seawolves, Tuttle wasted little time getting going with a hat trick in the first 21 minutes of action.  He then cashed in for his fourth of the day in the third quarter, as the Pioneers rattled off three unanswered to tie the score at nine. With the first overtime period winding down, the defending NEC Player of the Year snuck around his man after dodging down the alley and leaped through the crease with a back handed flip shot to seal the 12-11 OT win. The Castle Rock, CO native racked up five more goals and an assist in the Pios' 16-12 triumph over the Hawks on Saturday. With SHU down two in the third, he scored two straight to tie up the score at 10 as the Pioneers would eventually go on to tally six of the game's next eight goals for the victory. Tuttle joins Joe Saggese as back-to-back NEC POW winners and both players pace the conference this season with 21 goals.

NEC MEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dylan Furnback, MSM
So., G, Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial
Furnback became a back-to-back NEC Defensive Player of the Week honoree following a pair of wins in goal, including a 14-save performance against No. 14 ranked Richmond last Tuesday. The sophomore made a crucial save in the overtime period that led to a Chris DiPretoro sudden-death goal as the Mount defeated the Spiders, 12-11, on Tuesday for the program's first win over a ranked opponent since 2013. The Jackson, NJ product also stopped nine shots and led the Mount to a .944 clip in clearing the ball from defense to offense, as his team prevailed in a come-from-behind 9-8 victory over Mercer on Friday. He finished with a .548 save percentage for the week, and has been 50 percent or better in five of the seven games this season for the Mount.

NEC MEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Luke Caracciolo, Bryant
Fr. G, Centreville, VA/Paul VI
Caracciolo garnered his second NEC Rookie honor of the season after stopping 15 shots in Bryant's 9-8 loss to Stony Brook on Saturday. Caracciolo, who hails from Centreville, VA, made seven saves in the fourth quarter and held the Seawolves scoreless for a 10-minute stretch in the final frame to nearly lift his team to victory. He finished the day with a healthy .625 save percentage, and led the Bulldogs to 17-of-20 on the clear. Caracciolo leads the NEC with a .592 save percentage this season.
