NEC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dylan Sumner, Sr., M, Mercyhurst

Sumner was key in Mercyhurst’s 2-0 start to NEC play last week, totaling six points on two goals and two assists. In the 70th minute of the Lakers’ 2-1 win at Central Connecticut on Thursday, the senior midfielder slipped a ball past the keeper for the game-winner. On Sunday, Sumner scored Mercyhurst’s first goal to kickstart a 4-0 triumph over Chicago State, then added assists on the Lakers’ final two scores in the second half. After two weeks of conference play, Mercyhurst sits atop the league standings with six points. The Manchester, England native is tied for the league-lead with five assists and two game-winning goals, and his 11 points places him tied for third overall.

NEC MEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Justin Pham, R-Fr., F, Le Moyne
Liverpool, NY/Liverpool (Dayton)
In Le Moyne’s 4-0 road victory against Chicago State, Pham tallied a career-high three points on one goal and an assist. The redshirt freshman scored the Dolphins’ second goal in breakaway fashion in the 73rd minute. Just two minutes late, Pham assisted on a Ziad Abdul-Malak score to help secure the Le Moyne win. His goal marked the second of his career and second in as many matches.
