NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Grace Hennig, R-Sr., F., LIU
Red Hook, NY/Red Hook (Marist)
Hennig was the deciding factor in LIU's 2-1 win over Temple on Sunday afternoon. In the 88th minute, the senior headed in a goal off of a cross from a corner kick to put the Sharks in front late. Hennig's goal earned the Sharks their second consectuive victory and moved her into second place on the NEC points chart this season with five.

NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER & ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Aviana Gutierrez, Fr., GK, Chicago State
Waco, TX/University High School
Gutierrez had another outstanding week in goal for Chicago State and was a significant contributor in the Cougars' second win of the season. Last week, the Waco, TX native made 12 saves and kept a clean sheet for the second time this season in Chicago State's 1-0 win over Hampton on Thursday. Gutierrez added another eight saves on Sunday in a 1-0 loss to Wright State. The freshman's save percentage for the week was .952 and she is currently second in the conference in saves with 46 on the year. Gutierrez earned her second Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week awards of the season.

NEC Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.

Trinity Surowiec, So., M, Delaware State
Surowiec scored a brace in Delaware State's 2-2 draw against Hampton on Sunday afternoon. The sophomore socred two goals in under six minutes, giving the Hornets the lead on both occasions.

NEC Player of the Week.

Emma Sawich, Sr., GK, Saint Francis
Sawich made 24 saves over two matches last week for Saint Francis. The senior made eight saves and kept a clean sheet in the Red Flash's scoreless draw with Robert Morris on Sunday. Sawich ranks first in the conference in saves with 55 stops on the year. 

Hannah Anselmo, Sr., F, Stonehill
Anselmo scored two goals in 35 seconds to bring the Skyhawks level just before halftime in their match against Fordham on Thursday night. The reigning NEC Offensive Player of the Year is pacing the league in goals and points once again with three and six, respectively, thus far.
