NEC WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Elayna Pistrin, St. Francis Brooklyn
So., Victoria, Australia/Lavalla Catholic College
Pistrin took gold in three events at the Highlander Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The sophomore from Victoria, Australia posted the fastest times in the NEC in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke (1:06.64 & 2:24.07). Pistrin's 200-yard breaststroke is 3.59 seconds quicker than the next competitor and her 200-yard individual medley first place time was 2:10.86, which ranks second in the NEC. Pistrin also placed fifth in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:41.47, the third-fastest showing in the conference.
NEC WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Lola Barrett, Sacred Heart
So., Wakefield, MA/Wakefield Memorial
Barrett claimed her first NEC Diver of the Week award after taking gold in the one-meter dive and silver in the three-meter dive against Iona and Wagner. The sophomore scored a career-best 217.45 points on the three-meter board, which ranks second in the NEC, and amassed 212.00 points on the one-meter board to rank third on the circuit.

Aura Vilarrasa, Wagner
Fr., Montagut, Spain/IES La Garrotxa
In a tri-meet at Iona, Vilarrasa touched in at 2:06.00 in the 200-yard backstroke to earn gold and record the fastest time in the NEC this season. The rookie swam a 53.45 leg that ranks second in the NEC in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a first-place team finish of 3:33.64. Vilarrasa also competed in the 400-yard medley relay as the Seahawks placed second as a team with a time of 3:59.55.

Competing against America East champion UMBC and NJIT at the Highlander Invitational, Schnermann took third in the 200-yard freestyle, clocking 1:44.65, which also ranks as the third-best time in the NEC. The freshman snatched gold in the 400-yard individual medley (4:08.60) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:40.80), and he holds the fastest times in the NEC in both events. Schnermann also placed fifth in the 200-yard individual medley clocking in with the fourth-fastest time in the league this fall (1:58.42).

Green stood atop the podium at Iona in both the one-meter and three-meter dives. The frosh posted 186.55 points in the one-meter dive and a score of 195.85 in the three-meter dive.

Kaduson turned in a pair of top-three finishes in a tri-meet against Iona and Wagner. She swam a 10:51.70 (third in the NEC) to pick up a bronze in the 1000-yard freestyle and touched at 5:23.34 in the 500-yard freestyle for her second third place finish.
Boel Bergquist, SFBK, Fr.
Bergquist placed in the top-five in four events against Vermont and UMBC, taking fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.36; 3rd in NEC) and fourth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:41.41; 3rd in NEC). The rookie also placed third in the 100-yard freestyle (53.89) and fifth in the 200-yard individual medley (2:13.13).
Laetitia Bouc, SFBK, Jr.
Bouc earned bronze in the 200-yard butterfly with a third-best NEC time of 2:11.65 and placed fifth in the 100-yard butterfly with a fourth-best NEC time of 59.79.

Sydney Stockwell, STO, Jr.
Stockewell swept the backstroke events in a dual meet with Merrimack, earning gold in the 100-yard backstroke, (59.87) 200-yard backstroke (2:14.31), and 100-yard butterfly (1:01.41). The junior Syhawk swam the backstroke lead leg (27.86) in the Skyhawks' 200-yard medley winning relay (1:53.34).
Meliti Efthimiou, WC, Jr.
In a tri-meet agaisnt Iona and Sacred Heart, Efthimiou placed third in both the one-meter dive and three-meter dives. The junior posted a score of 203.45 on the one-meter board and 219.95 on the three-meter board to rank third in the NEC.
Abbie Hassell, WC, Jr.
Hassell claimed silver in the 50-yard freestyle (25.04) and third in the 100-yard freestyle (54.77) in a tri-meet against Iona and Sacred Heart. The junior competed in the 400-yard freestyle relay for a gold finish with personal-best times of 52.95 and 54.79.

Jedi Morland Janes, SFBK, Sr.
At the Highlander Invitational, Janes swam a 9:52.00 in the 1,000-yard freestyle, claiming gold and a top-time in the NEC by eight seconds. The senior placed third in the 200-yard butterfly (1:58.40; 3rd in NEC), fifth in the 500-yard freestyle relay (4:49.57), and 13th in the 100-yard freestlye (49.76).
Adrian Aguirre, WC, So.
Aguirre swam the 50-yard free in 21.74 for a first place finish at Iona and took bronze in the 100-yard free, touching in 48.33. The sophomore also competed in the 400-yard medley relay as Wagner took second (3:35.19).

Ruben Van Gool, WC, Fr.
Van Gool claimed silver in three events at Iona in New Rochelle, NY. The rookie swam 4:51.96 in the 500-yard freestyle and posted the second-quickest NEC time this fall in the 1,000-yard free (10:00.50). Van Gool and the Seahawks also placed second in the 400-yard medley relay in 3:35.19.
