NEC WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Zuilda Nwaeze, Howard

Nwaeze is getting use to being the tallest on the podium after finishing first in three events last week. On Friday, Nwaeze took gold in the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.31; 2nd in NEC) against American. Howard hosted VMI on Saturday where the rookie added two more gold medals to her inventory after swimming 5:12.52 in the 500-yard freestyle (3rd in NEC) and 10:42.36 in the 1000-yard freestyle (2nd in NEC).
NEC WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Olivia McNicholas, Sacred Heart
Jr., Hicksville, NY/Kellenberg Memorial
Now a two-time NEC Diver of the Week, McNicholas took home a gold and silver medal against Stony Brook. On Saturday, the junior won the 3-meter board with a score of 237.22 (1st in NEC) and finished second on the 1-meter board, racking up a score of 235.72 (2nd in NEC), which was just off her career-best.

Beckles received four gold medals last week against American and VMI to claim his first NEC Swimmer of the Week honor. The senior finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (20.96, 2nd in NEC) against American and swam a 45.87 in the 100-yard freestyle. On Saturday, Beckles placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.76, 3rd in NEC) and recorded the fastest time in the conference in the 50-yard butterfly (22.65) against VMI.
NEC MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Jordan Walker, Howard
So., San Antonio, TX
Walker took third on the 1-meter board against American registering a score of 236.05 and a silver medal finish from the 3-meter platform, racking up a score of 248.05. On Saturday, the sophomore placed second in the 1-meter dive against VMI with a score of 229.57 to help Howard to a 162-62 victory.
NEC MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Taj Benton, Howard
Fr., Baltimore, MD
Benton swam the quickest time in the NEC in the 200-yard butterfly touching in at 1:56.89 at American. The rookie snatched gold in the 50-yard freestyle against VMI with a time of 21.49 (3rd in NEC).
NEC WOMEN'S PRIME PERFORMERS
Katie Czulewicz, CCSU, Gr.
In a two-day dual with New Hampshire on Friday and Saturday, Czulewicz finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.92, 2nd in NEC) and was fifth to touch the wall in the 50-yard freestyle (25.52). In the 400-yard medley relay, the graduate clocked a 54.41 leg and a 24.72 leg in the 200-yard medley relay each for a second place finish. Czulewicz swam a 5:15.14 (5th in NEC) in the 500-yard freestyle for a silver medal and was the leadoff leg in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 55.27 and a second place finish.
Ella DiScala, CCSU, Fr.
DiScala earned silver medals in two events this past week against New Hampshire. The rookie recorded a 1:06.52 (2nd in NEC) in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:29.01 (4th in NEC) in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Gabi Wroblewski, CCSU, Fr.
Wroblewski placed third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:11.22 (4th in NEC) and swam a 2:14.70 (9th in NEC) in the 200-yard individual medley for a sixth place finish against New Hampshire in their two-day dual. The rookie claimed the fastest time in the NEC in the 400-yard individual medley touching in at 4:37.13. Wroblewski also swam the leadoff leg (59.09) in the 400-yard freestyle relay for a sixth place finish.
Teyana Johnson, HU, Sr.
On Friday, Johnson won the 1-meter dive at American producing a score of 234.50 (4th in NEC) and took silver on the 3-meter board recorfing a 211.70 (4th in NEC). The senior stood atop the podium agaisnt VMI on the 1-meter board, registering a 233.70 on Saturday in Howard's 172-52 triumph.

Spears took home a pair of gold medals after recording the fastest time in the NEC in the 100-yard individual medley (59.65) and clocked a 31.44 in the 50-yard breaststroke (4th in NEC) against VMI on Saturday.

On Saturday, Thompson claimed a silver medal and second-quickest time in the NEC touching in at 59.93 in the 100-yard individual medley against VMI.
Kendra Daily, MC, Fr.
Daily posted the fastest time in the NEC in the 50-yard backstroke against Simmons with a time of 18.68 to help the Warriors to a 142-94 victory.
Emily Dussault, MC, Fr.
Dussault touched the wall in 20.86 in the 50-yard backstroke against Simmons to record the second-quickest time in the NEC, just 2.18 seconds behind her teammate.

Sydney Stockwell, STO, Jr.
Stockwell led the Skyhawks to a 176-112 victory in a dual meet at Mount Holyoke with four event wins. The junior won the 50 yard backstroke, clocking in at 28.27, and won the 100-yard backstroke after touching in at 1:00.00. Stockwell posted the second-fastest time in the NEC in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 27.38 and also swam the third leg in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a split time of 55.87.

Bishop won the 200-yard freestyle against Mount St. Mary's in 1:56.96 (3rd in NEC) and won the 100-yard freestyle by touching in at 53.19 (1st in NEC). The senior swam the 50-yard freestyle in 25.19 for a bronze medal and clocked a 27.08 leg in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Simon took home a pair of gold medals this past week after swimming a 1:42.73 in the 200-yard freestyle (2nd in NEC) against American. On Saturday, the senior swam the best time in the NEC in the 100-yard individual medley against VMI, touching the wall in 50.76.
Luke Kennedy Thompson, HU, Sr.
Thompson collected three gold medals after swimming the 1000-yard freestyle in 9:56.65 (2nd in NEC) against American and 4:51.67 in the 500-yard freestyle. On Saturday, the senior posted the best time in the NEC in the 50-yard breaststroke against VMi at 25.98.

On Friday, Thompson took first place in the 200-yard breaststroke with a sixth-best conference time of 2:12.69. On Saturday, the junior swam a 26.73 in the 50-yard breaststroke for a silver medal finish and second-quickest time in the NEC

In a dual meet against Mount St. Mary's, Nalcaci placed first in the 200-yard butterfly in 1:59.72 (5th in NEC) and touched in at 52.26 for a first place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (4th in NEC). The rookie swam in the Wagner's second place 200-yard freestyle relay quartet, finishing with a 24.33 leg. Nalcaci also posted a 25.66 leg in the 200-yard medley relay for a third place finish.
