NEC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Megan Normile, Rider
Jr., D, New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt
Normile helped Rider lock up an NEC Tournament spot by netting three goals in a 1-1 week for the Broncs. The junior defender scored twice in a 4-0 conference victory over LIU, including the eventual game-winner. The two-time NEC Offensive Player of the Week also found the back of the cage to tie the game in the fourth quarter of Rider’s 3-2 setback against La Salle. Her nine goals on the year are tied for fourth in the conference, while Normile also boasts the seventh-most points (19) and points per game (1.12) on the circuit. The Broncs meet Wagner on Friday with the NEC regular season title on the line.
Cami Valor, Wagner

Valor scored three of Wagner’s four goals last week as the Seahawks posted a 1-1 record. The graduate forward scored the first and third goals of Wagner’s 3-0 shutout at Merrimack. Valor also found the back of the cage to give the Seahawks their initial lead in a 2-1 double overtime setback at No. 20 Drexel. The Rosario, Argentina native has 10 goals on the year, which is third in the NEC. She also is tied for the third-most points in the league with 23. Wagner faces off with Rider on Friday for the right to be crowned NEC regular season champions.
NEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Shannon Conte, Stonehill
Sr., Goalkeeper, Amesbury, MA/Pingree
Conte was key in keeping the Skyhawks’ playoff hopes alive by defending the cage spectacularly last week. The senior keeper made five stops in Stonehill’s 2-1 victory over Sacred Heart on Friday with four of them coming in the fourth quarter. Two days later, Conte made three saves in her third shutout of the season, a 3-0 win against Mercyhurst. Conte posted a .889 save percentage over the weekend. Her three shutouts are tied for the second in the NEC. The two victories closed out an unbeaten season at home for the Skyhawks.
