NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Marina Burzaco, So., F., FDU
Madrid, Spain/San Ignacio de Loyola
Burzaco earned her second consecutive NEC Women's Soccer Player of the Week award after maintaining her stellar form with five goal contributions in a 2-0 week for FDU. The forward from Madrid racked up seven points from two goals and three assists, aiding the Knights in two impressive five-goal displays. Burzaco scored a brace in the opening 13 minutes of FDU's 5-0 win over Delaware State and added an assist on the final goal. She assisted on a pair of goals in a 5-2 win for the Knights over New Haven on Sunday as well. The sophomore now leads the NEC in points (13) and assists (five) so far this season. Burzaco has made a goal contribution in each of the last four matches, and in five of the last six.
NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hannah Anselmo, Sr., F., Stonehill
Fall River, MA/Bishop Connolly
Anselmo etched her name into the Stonehill record books on Sunday by scoring the first hat trick of the Division I era for Stonehill. The reigning NEC Offensive Player of the Year caught fire in the second hald of a 5-1 Skyhawks win over Saint Francis. Anselmo scored the opener in the 56th minute and then followed that up in the 78th minute with two goals in nine seconds. After posting the first hat trick in the NEC this season, the Fall River, MA native leads the circuit with six goals and is second in points (12). The standout performance was Anselmo's second multi-goal game of the season. Stonehill started NEC play with a 3-1 win over New Haven on Thursday night.
NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Allie Sougaris, So., GK, Stonehill
Foxborough, MA/Foxborough
Sougaris was a steady presence between the woodwork for Stonehill last week, aiding the Skyhawks in victories over New Haven and Saint Francis to open league play. The Foxborough, MA product made three saves in each match for Stonehill, allowing just one goal in each. Those six total saves bring Sougaris' tally to 35 for the season, placing her fourth in the NEC in that category.
NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Brooklyn Menard, Fr., M, LIU
Gatineau, Quebec, Canada/Philemon Wright
Menard proved to be a much needed spark off the bench for LIU in their 2-1 comeback win at Delaware State on Sunday. The freshman scored the equalizer just before halftime to give the Sharks momentum heading into the intermission. The goal was the first for Menard at the collegiate level.
NEC PRIME PERFORMERS
Kayla Ward, So., F/M., Central Connecticut
Ward totaled four points last week for Central Connecticut. The sophomore assisted on two goals in a 3-3 draw with Wagner on Thursday, and scored the lone goal in a 1-1 draw with Howard on Sunday.

Katia Cardaba, Jr., M., FDU
Cardaba scored in both of FDU's wins last week. The junior scored one goal against Delaware State on Thursday and netted a brace against New Haven on Sunday. Cardaba is tied for fourth in the NEC in goals (3) and points (7).
Laura Martinez, Jr., M., FDU
Martinez also scored in both FDU matches last week, netting a goal in each of the two contests. Martinez's goal against New Haven tied the match just before halftime.
Ana Salas, Jr., M., FDU
Salas tallied an impressive five points last week for FDU. The junior assisted on Burzaco's second goal against Delaware State and helped on two more against New Haven, in addition to.a goal of her own in the 53rd minute. Salas is currently tied with teammate Andrea Ougaard for second the NEC in assists with three so far this season.
Hannah Anselmo, Sr., F., Stonehill
NEC Co-Player of the Week.
Kayla Cassidy, Jr., F., Stonehill
Cassidy totaled five points last week in a 2-0 start to conference play for Stonehill. The junior recorded a brace against New Haven on Thursday and assisted on Anselmo's third goal against Saint Francis.

NEC Defensive Player of the Week.
Alana Arjona, So., F, Wagner
Arjona racked up five points in a 1-0-1 week for Wagner. The sophomore scored a goal in each of the Seahawks' two matches and added an assist in a 3-3 draw against Central Connecticut on Thursday.
Kelly Gallagher, So., F, Wagner
Gallagher had four points for Wagner last week with a goal and two assists. Gallagher's 67th minute equalizing goal against Central Connecticut on Thursday allowed the Seahawks to take a point from their conference opener. She also assisted on the first Wagner goal in that match. Gallagher added another assist in Wagner's 3-0 win over Mercyhrust on Sunday.
