NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ana Salas, Jr., M., FDU
Madrid, Spain/Liceo Italiano
Salas earned the second NEC Player of the Week award of her career after an impressive showing last week. The junior made three goal contributions and helped FDU remain perfect in conference play with wins over Stonehill and Le Moyne. Salas scored and assisted in FDU's 3-2 win over Stonehill on Thursday. Salas also assisted on FDU's first goal against Le Moyne on Sunday and helped the Knights battle out of an early 2-0 hole. The Madrid, Spain native is currently second in the NEC in assists (5) and tied for fifth in points (9). Salas has made goal contributions in each of her last four matches.

NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gabriella Garcia-Terrell, So., F., Howard
Centreville, VA/Westfield HS
Garcia-Terrell continues to keep pace in the NEC scoring title chase and notched her second NEC Player of the Week award of the season. The sophomore netted a brace in Howard's 2-0 win over Mercyhurst on Sunday and contributed to keeping the Bison unbeaten in NEC play. Garcia-Terrell has scored six goals on the season and remains second on the NEC scoring charts, just one point off the league lead. The 2024 NEC Rookie of the Year also ranks third in the NEC with 12 points on the season.

NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Melina Ford, Jr., GK, Central Connecticut
Portland, CT/Mercy
Ford had a quality performance in goal last week for a Central Connecticut side that won both of its NEC matches. Ford kept two clean sheets and made five saves each against Chicago State on Thursday and New Haven on Sunday, resulting in two 1-0 victories for the Blue Devils. Ford is fourth in the NEC in save percentage (.771) and tied for second in shutouts (2). The junior has allowed just one goal in the last three matches, helping the Blue Devils to a 2-0-1 record in that stretch.

NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Riley Kerr, Fr., F, Saint Francis U
Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic
Kerr proved to be a key member of the Saint Francis attack last week with two goals in as many matches to earn her second NEC Rookie of the Week nod. The Greensburg, PA native scored the first goal in SFU's tilt against LIU on Thursday afternoon, and scored another on Sunday afternoon against Delaware State. The freshman now has three goals on the 2025 campaign and is tied for the Red Flash team lead. Kerr is one of two Saint Francis newcomers to earn Rookie of the Week honors this season, the other being Kaitlyn Dempster.

NEC PRIME PERFORMERS

Melina Ford, Jr., GK., Central Connecticut
NEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Azjah Tocher, Jr., GK., Delaware State
Tocher allowed just one goal in two games last week as Delaware State picked up four points in conference play. The junior kept a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Le Moyne on Thursday and allowed just one goal in a 2-1 Hornets win over Saint Francis on Sunday. Tocher made 10 saves over those two matches and kept a save percentage of .909.

Marina Burzaco, So., F., FDU
Burzaco has made a goal contribution in six consecutive matches and in seven of her last eight. Burzaco, who has won Player of the Week twice so far this season, netted the opening goal in FDU's 3-2 win over Stonehill on Thursday and assisted on the game-tying goal against Le Moyne on Sunday. Burzaco is tied for third in the NEC in goals (5) and leads the league in points (16).

Katia Cardaba, Jr., M., FDU
Cardaba scored two goals last week for FDU, both of which came in a brace against Le Moyne. The junior midfielder scored both the equalizer and the game-winner in FDU's 3-2 comeback win over the Dolphins on Sunday. Cardaba is tied for third in the NEC in goals (5) and sits fourth in points (11).

NEC Co-Player of the Week.

Trinity Knox, Jr., GK., Howard
Knox allowed just one goal over two matches for the Bison. The reigning NEC Goalkeeper of the Year made seven saves in the two wins, maintaining a save percentage of .875 for the week. Knox kept her first clean sheet of the year against Mercyhurst on Sunday and saved a penalty kick in the match. The junior ranks second in the NEC in both goals against average (1.02) and save percentage (.792).

Monica Viveros, R-Fr., M., LIU
Viveros played a crucial role in LIU winning its lone match last Thursday. After falling behind 2-0 early, Viveros scored the game-winning goal in the second half and completed the Sharks' 3-2 comeback victory, keeping them unbeaten (2-0-1) in conference play thus far.
